[solved] Kontalk and (unprivileged) guest account [android app]

Hi,

I try to install kontalk (F-droid) on my sons phone. He ist not admin and the registration seems ok (PIN coinfirmation succeeds). But then he gets redirected to the registration formular.

Any way to use kontalk as a non-privileged user?

Update:

Managed by new installation of the OS (whiping everything).
Installed kontalk app as admin but didn’t launche the app.
Grantet user rights to the guest account.
Changed in to the “guest account”.
Launched the app.
Registered to the kontalk server.
Works.

Glad to see you solved before I could answer

As you noticed by now, you need privileges for creating a system account (Kontalk uses Android Account Manager).
