Pbm registration : phone number verification fails

I can’t register to the application because the verification of my phone number is failing.
Is it still because registrations are currently closed due to an abuse of your service ?

We switched to another provider in the meantime, so the registration should work.
What error message do you get exactly?

The message i get (in French) is “the phone number verification has failed” > “la vérification du numéro de téléphone a échoué”.
I’ve owned this phone number for many years, as in France you can keep your phone number even if you switch your network provider for another one (i don’t know if it’s the same everywhere).
My phone number is recorded in my SIM directory under my first name.
I think my phone is roughly 3 or 4 years old.
I downloaded the app on F-Droid.
Is there a set up i should do before trying to register ?

I thought maybe some info on my phone might hep :
It’s an Archos 40 Helium / Android version 5.1 / Core version 3.10.65.
