Kontalk through Drony/VPN

Hello!

Does Kontalk work through Drony or other kind of VPN?

It is not working for me. It is like if it does not have internet connection. Should I configure something?

Hi! Well it really depends on what the VPN allows. Kontalk works on TCP port 5222.
From what I can understand, Drony is just a proxy working as a VPN layer in Android, therefore it probably depends on the proxy you’re going through. We will support HTTP proxy sometime in the future, but for now only TCP on 5222 is supported.

Well… evidently the proxy here does not allow TCP connections to port 5222…
