I’ve been a little absent these weeks due to life and stuff, but some of you might have noticed some unannounced betas from Google Play Store… and now the stable release!
Typing status in groups
Kontalk is now able to show “typing…” information in groups. For up to 2 people it will show who is typing by first name!
Bug fixes and improvements
Some of the most important fixes:
- Camera permission is needed also for external camera app
- Keep wake lock during message delivery and incoming processing
- Crash with some balloon themes
- Permission request loop with Google Maps provider
- Crash with notifications on Android 4
- Request storage permission before importing personal key
- Inapproriate use of plurals leading to crash
