Chat with non-Kontalk users

Is it possible to chat with users who do not have Kontalk but i.e. a dukgo.com JID?

Yes, but currently there is no UI in the Android app to do that; you’ll have to tell your friend to add you from his/her XMPP client (from his/her dukgo.com account). You can find your own JID in the Android app, menu > My personal key (it’s the long @beta.kontalk.net email-like address).

And please remember that you’ll have only TLS secured connection. Messages themselves will not be encrypted. You can encrypt with another program if you wanna.
