There is no much news I’m afraid… @a.cappelli87 started development a few months ago but couldn’t continue. I also wanted to contribute but I had my own stuff 
Maybe Andrea will take it over again, anyway we are always looking for developers

Can you get on fediverse, Signup on mastodon.social or any other instance, an official kontalk account it will definitely gonna help. I asked few people for shoutout so interested ios dev can work on kontalk ios app.
